Osimhen making me eat my words – Former Real Madrid striker

Former Italy and Real Madrid striker, Antonio Cassano has revealed that Super Eagles and Napoli marksman, Victor Osimhen has cleared his doubts.

Cassano speaking on Bobo TV via Tutto Napoli said he had doubts on the Nigerian’s quality when he came to the Serie A but he’s being proven wrong game after game.

The former AS Roma attacker has played for three of the sisters in Serie A, representing Inter Milan and AC Milan at different points in his career.

Cassano was one of the most revered attackers in Italy in the mid 2000s.

“The header scored by Osimhen is incredible, it looked like a missile,” the former Azzurri attacker said.

”Napoli went to a tremendous stadium and played a great match as a great team that wants to stay connected to the others. Juventus suffered more with Sampdoria than Napoli with Hellas. Osimhen? I did not believe in his potential, I had many doubts and instead with the passing of the games I can say that I realized that he can become a top player in the world.”
