Anthony Nwakaeme’s impressive stats ahead of Fenerbache clash

Anthony Nwakaeme is the storm in the Black Sea of Turkish club, Trabzonspor.

Sitting pretty on the top of the Turkish Super Lig log, the Black Sea Storm will visit Fenerbache later on Sunday as they hope to maintain a firm grip at the summit. Trabzonspor are already concluding arrangements on the celebration of their title which is expected to happen around every European centre.

The club has benefitted greatly from their Nigerian import, Nwakaeme who has had 18 goal contributions this season in 21 games.

The former Hapoel Beer Sheva striker, 32, is close to equalling his first season statistics where he got double digits of assist and goals.

This season, he has scored 9 goals and assisted 9 times too.

He has racked up an average shot of 2.2 shots per game and has 2.6 dribbling attempts in every Super Lig match. His all-round ability has also shown in his passing where he has an 80 percent accuracy. He has won the man-of-the-match in 5 games this season and is rated as arguably the best attacker in the Super Lig.

Nwakaeme last played for Nigeria four years ago but has shone as one of the country’s better attackers in European football.
