Man Utd join Arsenal, Newcastle in the race for Super Eagles star

The Red Devils are expected to be busy in the transfer market when the window opens in the summer, and they have identified one of Nigeria’s youngsters as their target

Former Premier League champions Manchester United have been linked with a potential move for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen in the next transfer window.

The Napoli star has been the toast of Europe’s biggest clubs, with reports linking him to big money moves to Arsenal or Newcastle in the last transfer window.

Osimhen has been spectacular this season, even though his season has been laced with injuries, especially the one he sustained last November, which ruled him out for two months.

However, the Napoli talisman has been nothing short of brilliant since he returned, as he picked up from where he left before his injury. The Super Eagles talisman has eleven goals and four assists in 21 appearances this season.

The 23-year-old is unarguably one of the top marksmen in Europe, and he has been subject to a lot of transfer talks. According to Area Napoli, Manchester United are interested in signing the former Lille man, but Newcastle are still favourites to land him.

Osimhen’s contract runs out in the summer of 2025, and any club that wants to lure him out of Napoli would have to cough out top dollar.
