Chukwueze came on for Yeremi Pino in the 62nd minute for his ninth league game of the season and also his 100th appearance in the Spanish top-flight.

The Nigerian international has come a long way since he made his debut in a home clash against Levante on November 11, 2018.

The former Golden Eaglets star has been a key player for the Europa League Champions, although he has played mainly as a substitute this season after recovering from a six-month layoff.

Of the 100 appearances, Chukwueze started 52 of the games, while he came on as a substitute in the other 48 matches.

Although he did not score on Sunday afternoon, the youngster’s has been fairly decent in front of goal. The 22-year-old has scored 13 goals and registered ten assists in his first 100 league games for the Yellow Submarines.

This season, he has one goal in nine league appearances, which came against Barcelona- the team he has scored the most number of goals against in the Spanish top-flight.

Finally Rorh is let go , he did a decent job even though he always looked like a coach who was more careful than daring. Not taking too much risk and most times looked like he had no pattern. He helped discover players for sure. Wish him all the best though.,
