Nigerian youngster Raphael Onyedika has been nominated for the October young player of the month in the Danish Super League. The 20-year-old burst to the scene for the Danish outfit earlier this season.
Since his debut, Onyedika has put in good performances for his club FC Midtjylland. Onyedika was also impressive in their 1-0 win at Crvena Zvezda in the Europa League yesterday.
The youngster was also nominated for the same award in August. His recent nomination means that he has been nominated for the award twice in the last three months.
Onyedika scored two goals and registered one assist from four appearances for FC Mitchylland in October.
The midfielder is yet to make his debut for the Nigeria National team. However, his recent form would be already be keeping Gernot Rohr’s scouts on alert.
The 20-year-old’s form comes following the departure of compatriot Frank Onyeka from FC Mitchylland.
