Moffi, Ebuehi cleared to play in the French Ligue 1 and Italian Serie A this weekend

The two Nigerian internationals were part of the Super Eagles squad that defeated Liberia and Cape Verde Islands during the international break

FC Lorient coach Christophe Pélissier has confirmed, as per France Bleu, that Nigerian forward Terem Moffi will be available for the club’s Ligue 1 clash this weekend.

Reigning French champions Lille arrive at the Stade Yves Allainmat – Le Moustoir on Friday to face home side Lorient in a matchday five encounter.

Moffi was involved in the final few minutes of the Super Eagles 2-1 win away to Cape Verde on Tuesday. The 22-year-old headed straight to France afterwards, and his manager has revealed that he won’t have to be quarantined despite returning from a coronavirus red zone.

Also, in Italy, Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi is expected to join his Venezia side ahead of their weekend trip to Empoli.

Venezia need all the help they can get are still searching for their first win of the season following two defeats in their opening games.

A controversial positive Covid-19 test ruled Ebuehi out of Nigeria’s trip to Cape Verde, but a second test returned negative.

And according to Tuttomercatoweb, the fullback is available to join the rest of his colleagues as they prepare for their matchday three clash at the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Empoli.
