The Leicester City forward has given the Liberians something to think about before they slug it out on September 3.

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored two goals in the Super Eagles first training session at the Teslim Balogun stadium.

The players were divided into two groups, and the Leicester City forward was in Team B alongside Victor Osimhen.

Team B won the game 3-2, with Osimhen adding a goal to Kelechi’s two, while Samuel Kalu and Terem Moffi scored one goal each for team A.

Team A consisted of Uzoho, Aina, Tyrone, Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Ndidi, Etebo, Simon, Musa, Kalu and Moffi.

Meanwhile, Team B had Akpeyi, Shehu, Adeleke, Omeruo, Valentine, Kingsley, Bonke, Valentine, Ejuke, Onyekuru, Iheanacho, and Osimhen.

Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye hasn’t reported to camp yet, although reports suggest he is already in the country.

Paderborn’s Jamilu Collins and Everton’s Iwobi didn’t participate in full training, but they had light training because of fatigue.

The Super Eagles face Liberia on September 3, after which they will fly to Praia to play Cape Verde, albeit some members of the squad will be absent due to the UK’s Covid-19 restrictions.
