The summer transfer window was a quiet one for Nigerian stars, but one of the Super Eagles players that moved can’t wait to get started at his new club
Super Eagles forward Isaac Success has been unveiled by Italian side Udinese following his move from Watford. In a press conference on Friday, the former Watford striker promised to give his best to his new club. He also stated his enthusiasm to play for the White and blacks.
“I’m delighted to be here, and I want to show people what I’m capable of,” Success said at his unveiling.
“I’ve heard so many great things about this club. I was keen to try a new experience, and this is a big challenge for me. I can’t wait to get started.”

In a bid to jump-start his career, the 25-year-old returns to the club, where he started his professional career seven years after leaving.
Success dumped Granada for Watford in 2016, commanding a transfer fee of over $16m. However, he failed to show the quality that attracted the Hornets to him.
Injuries played a huge part in his predicament as Success spent more time on the injury list than on matchday squad lists.
The Nigeria international played his last game for the Super Eagles in November 2018, but after his $1.98m transfer to Udinese, he will hope to get back into the national team.
