The Super Eagles striker back scoring again after he found the target in the Hornets clash against the Canaries on Saturday afternoon
Emmanuel Dennis became the second player after Étienne Capoue to score Watford’s first home and away goals in a Premier League campaign.
France star Capoue scored Watford’s first home and away goals in the 2016/2017 season. Dennis has now replicated the same feat after he scored in Watford’s clash against Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday.
The 23-year-old, who joined Watford from Club Brugge in the summer, opened his Premier League account in the 3-2 win over Aston Villa on opening day.
He has now backed up the goal with another strike against the Canaries on Saturday. Dennis put Watford ahead with a header from a Kiko cross in the 17th minute.
However, Teemu Pukki’s strike in the 35th minute ensured both sides went into the break with the scores tied.
The second half started with Norwich controlling possession, but it was Watford found the cutting edge as a brace from Ismaila Sarr gave them all the three points.
