‘This past months has really been heavy’- Forgotten Super Eagles star seeks answers from God

The season has started on a fantastic note for many Nigerian stars, but one Super Eagles star is currently going through a difficult period

Forgotten Nigerian star John Ogu is facing a challenging period following his latest comments on his social media page.

In a post on his Instagram page, Ogu revealed he’s now starting to question God, saying the last few months have been difficult for him.

“I know God never makes any mistakes but I know sometimes we all question him why at times. This past months has really been Heavy!!” Ogu said on his Instagram page.

It has indeed been a rough few years for the 33-year-old Nigerian international. The midfielder has been without a club for over a year while he buried his mother just a few months ago.

Ogu, whose last club was with Al-Adalah FC in Saudi Arabia, has been training back in Nigeria to retain his fitness.

He has been seeking a new club since his six-month contract with Al-Adalah expired last year. The former Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder made just seven appearances for the Saudi Arabian club.

Ogu is a full Nigerian international with 24 caps and two goals to his name. However, his last appearance for the Super Eagles came in 2019.
