Nigeria-eligible midfielder Femi Seriki has been linked with a loan move to Belgium Jupiler League side, Beerschot VA.
The Sheffield United player was at the Bury Academy before moving to the Sheffield United academy in 2019.
The manager of Sheffield United, Slavisa Jokanovic, revealed that the 19-year-old would make the move to further his development.
The midfielder is one of the academy products tipped to leave the club as part of their policy to develop the club.
According to Yorkshire live, Beerschot VA are believed to be favourites to land the prodigy because of the link between Sheffield United and Beerschot VA owner, Prince Abdullah.
The Manchester-born midfielder will hope to continue his development and bag some senior football experience as he has only played once for Sheffield United- a cameo appearance in a 1-0 loss to Newcastle in the Premier League last season.
Seriki is eligible to play for Nigeria as he hasn’t played for England at any level.
