The Nigerian international skipper has been married two times before, but he appears to have tied the knot a third time
Super Eagles and Kano Pillars captain Ahmed Musa reportedly took a new bride, Maryam, in a quiet affair over the weekend, making it the 28-year-old’s third marriage.
Musa’s first wife is Jamila, who had two children for the former Leicester City midfielder. The Super Eagles captain divorced Jamila in 2017 to marry his second wife, Juliet.
Although Juliet is still legally married to the Kano Pillars star, it has not stopped the 28-year-old from taking another wife.
No details have been made public regarding the wedding.
But famous Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu, who is believed to be close to the former Leicester City forward, has congratulated the new groom.
While posting the pictures of the wedding on his Instagram page, Ali Nuhu said, “I wish you all the best in this new life that you will enter together. Ahmed Musa, congratulations on your remarriage.”
The actor recently celebrated the ex-CSKA man on the fourth anniversary of his marriage with Juliet, a native of Ogoja in Cross River State.
Musa was without a club after leaving Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr last October. The former CSKA Moscow star was close to joining West Brom during the January transfer window, but the deal was called off after the parties involved could not reach a financial agreement.
However, he has since teamed up with former side Kano Pillars temporarily in an attempt to build his fitness and form ahead of a possible move back to Europe this summer.
