Onuachu posts a cryptic message amid transfer rumours to the Premier League

The Nigerian international has been linked with several Premier League clubs, but it appears he’s not bothered about the rumours

Paul Onuachu has hinted that he’s not worried about rumours concerning his future, with the Super Eagles star only focused on God.

Onuachu took to his Instagram page to post a cryptic message which appears to be directed at reports of a potential move to England.

The former Midtjylland striker posted an image on his Instagram which had this quote: ‘When God is your audience the opinions of people are no longer your sustenance.’

Although the 27-year-old may have just posted it with a free spirit, it could also be aimed at distractions from the media over his future.

Onuachu is expected to leave Genk this summer after a record-breaking season. The Super Eagles star scored 35 goals in all competitions for The Smurfs last season.

Premier League clubs Arsenal, West Ham, and Watford have been credited with an interest, but Genk coach revealed that the Nigerian could stay beyond this summer.

Nonetheless, any club hoping to take the tall striker off Genk’s book will have to pay a transfer fee above 20m euros.
