Nigeria International, Roosa Ariyo has sealed a move to the Spanish Primera Division Feminina side, Granadilla Tenerife.
She has signed a two-year contract at the club. Tenerife stated this in a statement via their website on Friday.
Ariyo, 27, was born in Finland to a Nigerian father and a Finnish mother. She has spent most of her life in Helsinki, Finland.
She has played for top Finnish clubs like Honka, Jitex, and Tikkurilan Palloseura before signing for Tenerife.
Ariyo is a prolific goalscorer, having scored 52 goals in 119 games, including an impressive 21 in 25 appearances last season.
The 27-year-old made her debut for the Super Falcons in June this year, where she featured in a 1-0 friendly loss to Jamaica.
With her credible record in front of goal, she is expected to give Asisat Oshoala a run for her money for first-team football in the Super Falcons.
She becomes the latest Super Falcons player in the Spanish Primera Feminina. The former Honka star is the first signing for the Spanish side in the offseason ahead of the 2021/2022 season as they looked to capitalise on their 6th place finish last season.
