Sheffield Wednesday defender Dominic Iorfa has issued a message on where he will play next season. The defender says that his long term future will be at The Owls.
The South Yorkshire team has experienced an exodus of players since their relegation to League One. Liam Shaw, Osaze Urhoghide, Joost Van Aken and Lewis Wing are among the high profile departures at Hillsborough.
However, the Nigeria-eligible defender told The Star that the thought of deserting the Owls has never crossed his mind.
The 26-year-old was a crucial player for Sheffield Wednesday in the first half of the season. In the ten games he played, Sheffield Wednesday kept four clean sheets.
An Achilles injury in December ruled him out of the season. The former Wolves player is now back from the sidelines and ready to help his team climb up to the Championship.
Iorfa is the son of retired Nigeria International, Dominic Iorfa. He was part of the England youth setup but hasn’t kicked a ball for the England senior team.
