Another Super Eagles star drums support for Saka and two other England stars

The Arsenal youngster missed a penalty in England’s loss to Italy, but he has been receiving a lot of love from the football community after they were subjected to racist abuse on social media

William Troost-Ekong is the latest Super Eagles player after Joe Aribo to lend his voice to the fight against racism, especially against the black players of the English National team.

Racism is a problem that has been in the conversation whenever football matters are being discussed. A lot of black players have suffered from many racists abuse.

The Watford star has now shown his support to players of the England team who were racially abused after their heartbreaking penalty shoot-out loss to Italy.

Saka, Rashford, and Sancho have been the main targets of angry fans on social media, as all three of them lost their penalty kicks.

Ekong took to his Instagram to share a picture of the three players with crowns on their heads. The former Udinese man also shared a powerful post from @ukisntinnocent, with a message that reads ‘British when they win, immigrants when they lose.

Ekong was born in the Netherlands, and he represented the country at the youth level. However, he switched allegiance to play for Nigeria, and he’s now the Super Eagles vice-captain.
