Transfers: Leicester prepare for possible Ndidi exit

The Foxes are preparing for the Nigerian international’s potential exit, but they have already identified a replacement

Leicester City are targeting Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma as a potential replacement for Wilfred Ndidi.

Ndidi joined the Foxes from Genk in January 2017 and has been one of the team’s most trusted players since his arrival.

The 24-year-old is the glue that holds Leicester City’s play together, acting as a shield for the defence and breaking up the opposition attacking play.

Since arriving in 2017, no player has made more successful tackles than Ndidi in the Premier League. These performances have not gone unnoticed, and Leicester City are already looking at a replacement should he leave this summer.

According to Fabrice Hawkins via GFFN, the Foxes want to sign Bissouma, who is also a target for Arsenal, as a replacement for Nididi.

Brendan Rodgers men have already brought in Boubakary Soumaré, but he is not seen as a replacement for the Nigerian star.

However, any club hoping to sign the Nigerian player may need to cough out at least 60m euros following a rise in his value.

Ndidi’s current contract with the Foxes runs until 2024.

  • Ffs it’s the silly season. If we believe the lazy press we’d have no players left!!! Please at least print stories with at least a hint of truth.

  • Yes, this is just someones daft imagination...again !
Do you just put other teams names in a hat and draw them out player by player of our team ?

Who's next Harvey to Barcelona then ??

This really is cheap nonsense, and that is all it is.
