Another Setback For Super Eagles Star

He only signed for a new club in January, but former Kano Pillars winger Junior Lokosa is already looking for a new team

Super Eagles star Junior Lokosa is searching for a new club after Simba SC decided to terminate his contract. The former Kano Pillars star signed for the Tanzanian club in January.

However, according to popular African football journalist Micky Jnr, Simba and Lokosa have now parted ways.

Lokosa was not part of the Simba squad that defeated Al-Merrikh in their CAF Champions League clash on Tuesday.

The Nigerian international joined The Reds of Msimbazi in January after leaving Tunisian club Esperance in July 2020.

Lokosa’s next destination remains unknown, but there are a couple of clubs interested in his services. According to reports, Dstv Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs have inquired about his services, while Norweigian club FC Stromsgodset are also interested in taking the Nigerian star.
