Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is facing selection problems ahead of next month’s games after Paul Onuachu once again hit the target
Paul Onuachu keeps giving Gernot Rohr something to think about after he scored his 23rd league goal of the season in Genk’s clash against Oostende.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring in the tenth minute from the penalty spot, but it was not enough to help Genk avoid defeat as Oostende two penalties of theirs through Makhtar Gueye in the 22nd and 26th minute respectively.
Arthur Theate’s then added a third in the 58th-minute win to kill all hopes of a comeback and secure a comfortable victory for the home side.
Nonetheless, Onuachu’s 23rd strike in 26 league games poses more question for Rohr ahead of Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
The German tactician has a selection headache in the attack with the attackers like Terem Moffi, Sadiq Umar and Josh Maja also impressing at their clubs.
