Premier League: Ola Aina Rewarded For His Effort Against West Brom

The Nigerian international star has had a difficult start to the season with his Fulham side, but he has a reason to celebrate after winning November’s goal of the month

Ola Aina’s strike in Fulham’s 2-0 win over West Brom has won the Premier League goal of the month for November.

The Super Eagles star, who joined Fulham on a season-long loan deal from Torino, scored the second goal in what was the Cottagers first league win of the season.

It came courtesy of a left-footed cracker from the edge of the box, which left West Brom goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone sprawling.

But despite the award, it has been an indifferent start to the season for Aina and Fulham. After missing the first three league games, the former Chelsea star has featured for the entire duration in all of Fulham’s next eight league games.

However, Scott Parker’s men have just two wins to their name this season and are just a point above the relegation place.

It doesn’t get easier for them as their next game is against champions, Liverpool, on Sunday.
