Transfers: Real Madrid To ‘Bid’ For Nigerian Star

La Liga champions are planning to bolster their squad, and they have identified a Nigerian international as one of their targets

Real Madrid are ready to make a bid for Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze. According to 90min, Chukwueze’s performances in Villarreal’s 1-1 draw against Madrid last weekend impressed Los Blancos officials.

The Nigerian international came on in last week’s clash between both sides, and he helped the Yellow Submarines salvage a point against the champions.

With the Yellow Submarines trailing by a lone goal, Villarreal manager, Unai Emery, introduced Chukwueze on the hour mark and he made his mark as he won a penalty for the home side 15 minutes from time.

And according to 90min, his cameo was enough to convince their opponents that day, who are now ready to send in a bid for him.

However, the Spanish champions will have to pay his 100m euros release clause if they are to take him away from Estadio de la Cerámica.
