See Ndidi’s Powerful Image As He Lends His Voice To The #EndSars Movement

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is the latest Super Eagles star to show his support for the movement against police brutality in Nigeria.

For the past 12 days, the citizens of Nigeria have been on the streets, calling for an end to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

Although the federal government has disbanded the unit, it has not stopped the protest with people calling for action against several police officers that have brutalised, killed, extorted and kidnapped citizens.

Many Nigerian footballers have shown their support for the movement with both Victor Osimhen and Simy Nwankwo displaying a #endsars shirt after scoring for their respective clubs last weekend.

Ndidi has now joined the movement after he posted a powerful picture on his social media page. The 23-year-old is currently injured for Leicester, but he was in the stands to watch the loss against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Following the match, Ndidi posted a picture of him raising his fist in solidarity with many Nigerians protesting on the street.

Also, new Super Eagles star, Chidera Ejuke lent his voice to the movement by taking a knee and raising a fist after scoring in CSKA Moscow’s win over Dinamo Moscow.
