English clubs have named their 25-man squad for the 2020/2021 European competitions, but there’s no place for Victor Moses in Chelsea’s squad.
Moses is yet to feature for the Blues this season with Frank Lampard confirming the Nigerian is not in his plans for this season.
The former Super Eagles star was therefore not named in Chelsea’s 25-man squad for the Champions League this season.
Former Leicester City midfielder, Danny Drinkwater was another player not included in the Blues Champions League team.
Moses has a contract that runs till 2022 at Chelsea, but he spent the whole of last season on loan. The 29-year-old spent the first six months at Fenerbahce but ended the loan deal early to reunite with former boss, Antonio Conte, at Inter Milan.
He impressed with the Nerazzurri and reports claimed Conte was interested in taking him on loan. But a deal could not be agreed before the transfer window shut.
While Moses missed out from Chelsea’s squad, Odion Ighalo was included in Manchester United’s 25-man team for Europe’s biggest club competition.
Ighalo, who has had limited game time since he joined United on loan, was one of the four strikers included in United’s squad.
The 31-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game for the Red Devils, but he played a couple of games in the Europa League last season.
