Another Super Eagles Star Follows Osimhen Lead With The #EndSars Tribute

Osimhen celebrated his first competitive goal for Napoli by calling for an end to police brutality, and another Nigerian star has done the same thing

Super Eagles star, Simy Nwankwo scored his second league goal of the season for Crotone as the newly-promoted side earned a surprising 1-1 draw against champions, Juventus.

Simy opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Leonardo Bonucci fouled Arkadiusz Reca in the box. The 28-year-old picked up the ball to send Gianluigi Buffon the wrong way.

The Nigerian international then celebrated by displaying a shirt which read “end Police Brutality in Nigeria” It was the same way Osimhen celebrated after scoring his first competitive goal in Napoli’s 4-1 win over Atalanta.

Simy’goal was his second in consecutive games after he opened his account in the 4-1 loss to Sassuolo. However, Alvaro Morata’s first goal since his return to Juventus drew the champions level.

The Old Lady had Federico Chiesa sent off, but Crotone could not capitalise on the advantage. Nonetheless, it was an impressive result for Giovanni Stroppa’s men, picking up their first point of the season.
