Transfers: Ligue 1 Giants Join The Race For Nigerian Star

The transfer window is in full flow, and clubs are already making plans to boost their squad by bringing reinforcements for the new season

French Ligue 1 side, Olympique Marseille have entered the race to sign Nigeria’s in-demand star, Emmanuel Dennis.

Dennis, currently on the books of Belgian champions Club Brugge, is attracting interest a host of top clubs in Europe.

The likes of Borussia Dortmund, Sheffield United and RB Leipzig are some of the clubs that have been linked with the 22-year-old.

Marseille are now the latest club linked with the Nigerian international. According to Manu Lonjon, Les Phocéen are interested in bringing the Super Eagles star to Stade Velodrome.

Dennis is a man in demand following his exploits with Brugge last season. The 22-year-old played a vital role in Blauw-Zwart league success.

The Nigerian international scored nine times in all competitions for Brugge last campaign, including two against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Dennis has featured twice for Brugge in the new Jupiler League season.
