The 23-year-old was on target for the second time this week after scoring in the Gers 4-0 thrashing of Motherwell on Wednesday evening

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo scored another stunning goal in Rangers pre-season win over Coventry City on Saturday afternoon.

The former Charlton star opened the scoring for Steven Gerrard’s side five minutes into the second-half following a goalless first half.

After receiving the ball from the edge of the box, Aribo then played a one-two with Alfredo Morelos before slotting past the Coventry goalkeeper.

The Nigerian international also scored a similar goal against Motherwell on Wednesday. When asked why he’s able to score goals like that, Aribo credited his experience of playing a five-aside.

Meanwhile, Connor Goldson’s header in the 67th minute doubled Rangers advantage. Steven Gerrard’s side are currently preparing for the 2020/2021 Scottish Premiership season which starts next weekend.

Rangers travel to Aberdeen in their first game of the season.
