The Super Eagles striker has been linked with several top sides in Europe, and in this newly created show, Soccernet’s editors discuss the youngster’s future
Soccernet’s editors, Oluwajoba Ogunwale and Lolade Adewuyi, last week sat down to discuss various sporting issues in a new show called Soccernet weekly.
Osimhen’s future was the focus of discussion, the site’s managing editor, Lolade Adewuyi believes the 21-year-old is good enough to play for any club in Europe.
The former Royal Charleroi striker is attracting interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Barcelona. With 18 goals and six assists in 38 games for Lille this season, the Super Eagles star has had a brilliant debut season in France.
However, while Osimhen has been a revelation this season, Soccernet’s chief editor, Oluwajoba Ogunwale, says the former Golden Eaglets striker should stay at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy for one more season.
