Iheanacho Reacts To Ndidi’s FIFA Game Loss To Wolves Star

The former Manchester City striker has claimed that he trained his compatriot on how to play the game of FIFA, but he was disappointed that the midfielder lost to Diogo Jota.

Wilfred Ndidi represented Leicester City in the inaugural ePremier League FIFA invitational tournament last week, losing out to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Diogo Jota.

The competition had a selected player from each of the 20 premier league clubs drawn against each other, with the prize fund donated to the #PlayersTogether initiative.

The proceeds would then be given to the National Health Service (NHS).

Showing deft football-gaming skills, Jota thrashed Ndidi by putting eight past the Super Eagles ace, who could only manage two goals in return.

The Wolves forward went on to win the competition.

Iheanacho reveals he often plays the game with Ndidi, whose skills are improving, but admits that Jota was a deserving winner.

“To be fair, Diogo Jota is a good player on FIFA, and I think Wilf is good,” Iheanacho told Leicester’s official website.

“I taught him well, but it wasn’t a good outing.

“Diogo was strong, but we learn from our mistakes. Maybe next time, he will learn more from me before he goes to compete!

“Me and Wilf always play. He beats me, and I beat him, but I haven’t seen any others because we always play on the bus when we go to games.”
