Forgotten Super Eagles star, Olanrewaju Kayode was on target for his side, Gaziantep in their 1-1 draw against Trabzonspor on Saturday afternoon.
Former Nigeria captain John Mikel Obi and Anthony Nwakeme were also in action for Trabzonspor at the New Gaziantep Stadium.
Caleb Ekuban gave Trabzonspor a first-half lead with a fine strike in the 22nd minute, but Olanewaju Kayode ensured the spoils were shared as his strike drew Gaziantep level eight minutes into the second half.
Kayode joined Gaziantep from Shaktar Donestk last summer and has played 23 s times for the Şahinler this season.
His goal on Saturday afternoon was his ninth of the season, while he also has seven assists in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Mike was in action for 83 minutes for Trabzonspor, but Nwakeme was on from start to finish for the Karadeniz Fırtınası.
The draw leaves Trabzonspor three points behind table-toppers, Istanbul Basaksehir who also have a game in hand. Gaziantep meanwhile, stay in ninth position with 32 points from 25 games.
