Manchester United Icon Stunned By Bukayo Saka’s Impact In Arsenal’s Defeat Of Everton

The youngster continues to dominate the headlines with yet another brilliant showing on Sunday to the amazement of Gary Neville.

The former England international heaped accolades on Bukayo Saka after the kid wonder inspired the Gunners to a thrilling 3-2 win at home to Everton.

Saka started on the bench with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta keen to give the 18-year-old a bit of rest following his Europa League exertions on Thursday.

But the evening began poorly for the north Londoners as they fell behind to an early Calvert-Lewin goal before Saka’s replacement, Sead Kolasinac, suffered an injury.

Saka entered the pitch to a round of applause from the home fans, and soon after, the flying full-back made a positive impact.

He bombed down the left-wing, past Alex Iwobi, and delivered a perfect cross for Nketiah to bring the game back on levelled terms.

It was the England youth international’s 10th assist of the season in all competitions for the Gunners.

Arsenal eventually ran out 3-2 winners with Saka playing a vital role, and that caught the attention of Gary Neville.

Neville told Sky Sports via Football. London: “(Alex) Iwobi goes to sleep a little bit, but he doesn’t do too much wrong. But that cross, wow.

“There is not a lot a defender can do about that, and neither can the goalkeeper.

“The quality of the cross was absolutely outstanding. All you want is your striker in that position, and he (Nketiah) is. He gets a good contact on it.”

“It’s harsh to suggest that Arsenal fans were happy that Sead Kolasinac went off, but there was a bit of a cheer.

“What a cross from Saka. I was having a mundane chat because I thought nothing was on,” Neville concluded.
