The Foxes are yet to win a game since the Nigeria international picked up an injury early in the year and fans are now in agreement as to the cause of the club’s current dip in form.
According to a section of the Foxes fans, Ndidi’s enforced absence is the reason Leicester City have suffered a badly timed mid-January blip.
The Super Eagles star picked up a knee injury in the first week of January and is not expected to make a return until the end of the month.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have sorely missed the 23-year-old, with the 2016 EPL champions yet to win a game – or keep a clean sheet – since his injury.
On Sunday, the Foxes fell to their second consecutive defeat as struggling Burnley came from behind at Turf Moor to claim a 2-1 win.
A former Nigeria international Joseph Dosu had earlier opined that Ndidi’s absence was the reason for their surprising loss to Southampton last week. Manager Brendan Rodgers also hinted that the former Genk star had been irreplaceable in midfield.
After two losses and a draw in their last three matches, the Leicester fans are now in agreement that Ndidi is the reason for the Foxes recent slump after looking so strong during the first half of the season.
