A young female fan of Lille had a special moment after Lille’s Coupe de France win over Gonfreville on Saturday afternoon.
Sporting a Victor Osimhen jersey, the young lady waited for her hero in the hallway after the encounter, and it earned her a hug and another jersey from the Nigeria international.
On spotting her, Victor Osimhen reached into his backpack and brought out a jersey for the young fan. Not only that, but he was also kind enough to hug the young lady.
Osimhen has endeared himself to Lille fans following brilliant performances for Christophe Galtier’s side this campaign.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation since he joined Les Dogues from Royal Charleroi last summer. He has scored 15 goals in all competitions, the latest which came in the win over Gonfreville on Saturday.
Osimhen will hope to continue banging in the goals when he faces his biggest challenge (PSG) on Sunday at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
