Barring any last-minute change, Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru will rejoin the Turkish side, Galatasaray on a six-month loan deal from Monaco.
According to Turkish newspaper Sabah, Galatasaray have won the race to sign the 22-year-old forward despite been linked to Fenerbahce in the past weeks, and will also pay part of his salary.
The Nigerian international spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 14 goals in 31 league appearances, and winning the domestic double. However, the Lions could not agree a permanent deal with Everton which allowed the Nigerian international to join Monaco for 10m euros.
But since he moved to Stade Louis II, Onyekuru has had a difficult time, falling behind the Wissam Ben Yedder, Islam Slimani, and Gelson Martins in the pecking order. He has managed just four appearances for Les Monégasques in this season.
But a move back to the Türk Telekom Stadium could kickstart his career again. The 22-year-old could make his second Galatasaray debut in a Turkish League Cup clash against Rizespor on January 15th.
