Osimhen Reveals Relationship Between Him and Ikone

There Frenchman has been accused of being selfish against his Lille teammate, but Victor Osimhen has revealed there’s no problem between him and Nanitamo Ikone.

Ikone has scored four goals and provided three assists in 25 goals for Lille this season, but he has been accused of not passing the ball to Osimhen frequently.

However, Osimhen has revealed the two guys talked about it, and there’s no bad blood between them. The Super Eagles star told Naijafootballers that, the two guys had a chat, and they now understand each other.

“After some couple of games at home, we sat down, he called me to his house, and he spoke to me, Osimhen said.”

“He showed me some of my clips when I was in Charleroi, and he shows some of his assists also, so he told me, how else do I want the ball”? So I explained to him, this is the way I run, this is what I need, whenever I need the ball on the space, I know this is what he should do.

“So I think we’ve been trying to understand each other in training, and you can see we are getting better, and of course, we’ll get even more better with time, he added.

The partnership is yielding fruits, especially for Osimhen. The 21-year-old has scored 14 times and registered four assists in 26 games for Lille this season.
