Mourinho Set To Raid Old Trafford For Star Midfielder

Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho is preparing to raid Manchester United for the signature of Serbian midfielder during the January transfer window.

The Portuguese tactician who has drawn out plans to reshuffle his midfield has identified Nemanja Matić as a key player he would love to work with at Spurs.

Recall that Matic has played under Mourinho at Chelsea and Manchester United before he was sacked last year by the Red Devils for poor results in the Premier League.

The ex-Real Madrid manager had a lot of success with Matic at Chelsea as they won a Premier League title together.

However, the Serbian international has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford as he has only made five appearances this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to a series of injuries and lack of form.

With his current contract set to expire next summer, Matic could leave for free at the end of the season.

Besides, the former Benfica star has hinted that he would be open to reuniting with Mourinho as he liked an Instagram post that suggested he could be on his way to Tottenham.
