He can pass, tackle, break up play and win aerial duels, but Wilfred Ndidi has shown he has another quality which other players don’t have.
In the win over Aston Villa, Ndidi made 65 passes, had seven clearances and won three aerial duels. But it was the instinct he showed in recovering his chewing gum that got the attention of Leicester City Twitter page.
The Super Eagles star was fouled on the ball by Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, and in the process, his chewing gum fell out of his mouth, but the former Genk star showed great instinct to prevent it from falling on the pitch.
