Ebere Eze Urged To Match Talent With Hardwork To Become World Class

The youngster was decisive yet again on Saturday as his delightful double earned QPR the maximum points but his club boss has challenged him to become world class.

Nigerian wonderkid Ebere Eze has been hailed by manager Mark Warburton after scoring a goal in each half to lead the Hoops to a fine 2-0 win over Preston North End on Saturday.

The 21-year-old opened the scoring at Loftus Road in the 17th minute and later sealed the victory for the hosts in the 67th minute, bringing his tally to nine goals in 20 appearances in the second-tier league this term.

Eze’s match winning display has not gone unnoticed as his manager praised his qualities and talent afterwards.

Queens Park Rangers boss Mark however believes that if the England youth international can match his evident talent with hard work, it would be only a matter of time before the youngster reaches world class level.

“Ebs is a tremendous talent. I want him to enjoy his football and he has got to understand how much hard work is required to maximise the talent that he has,” Warburton told the QPR official website.

“You see Ebere’s quality with the ball and I want to keep working on his quality without the ball. To play at the very highest level, you have to make sure you have that.

“He is a talented boy, is playing exceptionally well for us, scoring goals and I hope very much that he is playing with a smile on his face as well.”

With his club career on the upswing, Ebere Eze’s international career is far from being decided with the President of Nigeria’s number one football body, the NFF, Mr Amaju Pinnick, pulling all strings to see the talented midfielder wear the green and white colours of the Super Eagles.
