Chelsea Fans Beg Club To Sign Super Eagles Youngster Instead Of Wilfred Zaha

A section of the Blues supporters have expressed their preference for Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze to the Crystal Palace forward.

Chelsea are reportedly looking to bolster their attacking ranks when the transfer window reopens in January with Villarreal winger Chukwueze named among a bunch of exciting forwards.

A transfer ban stopped the Stamford Bridge giants from signing players in the summer with manager Frank Lampard having to make do so far with a blend of the club’s youngsters and old hands.

But with the ban now lifted, the Blues are expected to be aggressive in the market as there is obvious need to reinforce a team that lies in fourth place in the league having lost four of its last five games.

While the likes of Crystal Palace’s Zaha, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner and Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey are believed to rank high on Chelsea’s shopping list, Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze is however the one player many Blues fans would like to see move to London.

Here are some of their pleas to the club’s top officials to sign the Villarreal youngster:

@DavidChinoyerem: Samuel Chukwueze will be a good signing for Chelsea, he plays like Robben and he’s direct.

@adamkkcfc: I’m on the Samuel Chukwueze hype train. I want him at Chelsea if Sancho isn’t possible. An absolute Baller imo.

@ColdCalteck: A left footed RW is needed at Chelsea because it will create new passing and shooting angles as well as benefit Reece. Leon Bailey and Samuel Chukwueze are two potential options. Bailey is further in his development, but Chukwueze has a higher ceiling. I wouldn’t mind either tbh.

@Bblood_cfc: Zaha only performs when he reads the news that Chelsea’s on the look out for him. I hope his price tag won’t increase. Anyways I hope we smart enough to realize that Chukwueze is what we need.

@UtdChi: If Emenalor was still at Chelsea, Samuel Chukwueze would have been a done deal for the blues by now.

@ChelseaMCMV: this club… wrap Chukwueze & Werner in bubble sheets already..

@Raphvel: Chukwueze will flourish at Chelsea if he gets the chance. We should go for him and loan Odoi to Vitesse asap.

@CFCbluescanada: Either Bailey or Chukwueze in January would be great, both seem to be a reasonable price right now and same style. Electric left footed attackers, something we clearly need. Doesn’t deter Sancho either. Pulisic – Sancho – HudsonOdoi – Bailey/Chukwueze is a nasty rotation.

It would be recalled however that Villarreal coach Javier Calleja has advised Samuel Chukwueze to shun Chelsea’s advances and continue his development at the club.
