Victor Osimhen’s mini goal drought is finally over as he scored his first away goal for Lille in their champions league clash against Valencia on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old has not scored since scoring in Lille’s 2-2 draw against Nimes last month. His goal at the Mestalla tonight is his ninth in 16 appearances for Les Douges.
It is also his second champions league goal after scoring in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea. The striker’s goal against Los Ches came in the 25th minuted after he jumped on a loose pass inside Valencia’s half before finishing past Jasper Cillessen in goal.
