Super Eagles Midfielder Reveals What He Feels Playing Under Rohr

Super Eagles midfielder, Ramon Azeez has praised the team’s technical adviser, Gernot Rohr for giving him a chance in Nigeria’s victory over Lesotho in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Granada midfielder, who played only 18 minutes in the team’s victory on Sunday, told Sports Extra in chat that was monitored by Soccernet.ng that, he’s ready to learn under Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr.

Azeez also assured that he would continue to give his best for the team whenever he’s called upon to represent the senior national team.

“There are players of incredible quality in this team. I always accept the coach’s decisions and I have to keep working with humility, compete with my teammates and when I have the chance to give my all for the national team,” said Azeez in an interview with Sports Extra.

“I am calm and happy to be part of the group and I only have words of thanks for everyone because being here with my colleagues you can only learn more.”

  • Congratulations to the super eagles for their attacking prowess that yielded 6goals in two matches. There's still a load of work to be done on defense. SE, can't continue to come from behind, It will be an up hill task to concede early goals playing against more experienced sides and expect a miraculous come back.
