Brighton Albion were blown away by Manchester United 3-1 in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford as Super Eagles defender failed to get a taste of the action.
Leon Balogun has not featured for Brighton since the start of the 2019/2020 season under manager, Graham Potter.
The Nigerian international watched from the bench as Man United opened the floodgate of goals in the 17th minute through Andreas Pereira before Davy Propper scored an own goal to extend the Red Devils lead.
However, in the 64th minute, Brighton reduced the scoreline when Lewis Dunk netted a low drive shot that went past Man United goalkeeper, David De Gae.
Marcus Rashford crushed any chance for Brighton to equalize as he maintained the Red Devils two-goal lead in the 66th minute.
