PSG Warn Real Madrid and Zidane To Steer Clear Of World Cup Winning Star

Real Madrid and their French manager have never hidden their love for the prodigious talents of youngster Kylian Mbappe with Zinedine Zidane raising dusts this week with comments about the France international. But PSG have responded in clear terms: stay away from Mbappe.

Paris St Germain have warned Zidane and the Spanish giants off their talented World Cup winner after reports emerged that Zidane may be trying to unsettle the 20-year-old.

Real’s manager Zidane is in search of a long term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo with star summer signing Eden Hazard struggling to make an instant impact in the Spanish capital.

And when asked about the transfer status of Mbappe as the January transfer window approaches during Tuesday’s press conference, Zidane insisted that playing for Los Blancos has always been Mbappe’s dream, not his (Zidane’s).

“It will be the player (Mbappe) who makes the decision on his future,” the Real Madrid manager told the media as monitored by Soccernet.ng.

“At the moment he is with PSG.

“In the future, we’ll see, he has always said that his dream was to play at Real Madrid one day.”

Zinedine Zidane’s comments about Kylian Mbappe however did not go down well with the PSG hierarchy and in a swift reaction, the club’s sporting director, Leonardo, sent a strong ‘stop don’t touch’ warning to Madrid.

“It’s annoying,” Leonardo said of Zidane’s comments, shortly after PSG claimed a simple 1-0 win over Club Brugge.

“This isn’t the time to speak about dreams and all of that.

“It has to stop.

“Mbappe is very important for us and this isn’t the moment to destabilise him.”

Mbappé, regarded as the world’s most valuable youngster, garnered his first The Best FIFA Men’s Player and won the World Cup with France at just age 19.
