Ligue 1: Stade Brest Point Out Nigeria Wing Wizard As Danger Man To Watch In Nantes Clash

Twelfth-placed Stade Brestois play host to Ninth-placed Nantes on Saturday night in a match day 14 fixture in the French league with La Team Pirate having identified Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has the visitors’ most dangerous star.

Nigeria international Moses Simon claimed Nantes’ Player of the Month of October after a string of impressive displays for the cub despite the Ligue 1 enduring some troubled times in recent weeks. His talents on the wings however continue to make Nantes a dangerous opposition to face, according to their hosts this weekend, Brest.

The home side are desperate for their first win in three matches and have pinpointed the 24-year-old Simon as the player who can derail them from claiming all three points.

Writing on their official website about the Nantes’ star Brest players and staff must pay close attention to, The Pirates said of the player currently on loan from Levante:

“(Moses is an) explosive player, very fast, he often moves in the channel and has a great ability to dribble past his opponents.

“The Nigerian international is the best among a bunch of Nantes stars.”

Simon starred as Nantes, one of the season’s early frontrunners, climbed as high as 2nd on the Ligue 1 table but they have fallen by the wayside as they now occupy 9th – a situation the visitors will look to remedy with a win at Brest.
