“He Has Set The Worst Record In Nigeria’s History” – Knocks For Eagles Coach After Olympics Failure

Nigeria has failed to qualify for the Summer Olympic Games for just the third time since winning the gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games and many are not impressed with the man who has overseen the latest setback.

Coach Imama Amapakapo has come under severe attack after the Olympic Eagles failed to make it past the group stages of the U23 AFCON tournament in Egypt.

Nigeria, the defending champions, could only manage a drab draw against South Africa on Friday night, to end up with four points in Group B, opening the door for the Amagluglug to claim second spot behind the Ivory Coast who defeated Zambia in the other group game.

Fans took to Twitter to express their frustration at coach Amapakabo, who had previously recorded similar ugly results with the Flying Eagles and the Home-based Super Eagles (CHAN Eagles).
