Griezmann, Messi, Suarez’s Goal Down Eibar In La Liga

Barcelona maintained their fourth winning streak in the league as the Catalonia defeated Eibar 3-0 in Saturday’s La Liga game at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.

The reigning champions began the game on a bright note as Antoine Griezmann netted the opening goal in the 13th minute with a simple finish to the delight of the visiting fans.

Lionel Messi almost doubled the lead in the 30th minute but the Argentina forward placed the ball wide.

Eibar had a fair chance of pulling a goal back in the 55th minute but Pape Diop’s finish went wide of the goal.

Messi however, made up for his mistakes in the second half with a brilliant goal in the 58th minute to extend Barcelona’s lead.

Their lead was later extended beyond the reach of the home team as Luiz Suarez netted the third goal to silence the home supporters.

The victory puts Barcelona top of the La Liga table on 19 points pending the result of Real Madrid and Mallorca later this evening.
