Brazil manager Tite has revealed why his team found it difficult against the Super Eagles last Sunday, while also praising some of Rohr’s men.
The Super Eagles earned a surprising 1-1 draw against the Selecao last week Sunday and that drew praises from a lot of quarters.
It was an impressive performance from Gernot’s Rohr’s men as they shared the spoils with the third-ranked team in the world.
Speaking after the match, Selecao coach, Tite revealed the five-times world champions found it difficult to cope with the physicality and speed of the Nigerian team.
According to Own Goal, the 58-year-old singled out the likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Alex Iwobi and Victor Osimhen for praise.
”We know of the physical way African teams play and that was a big test for us. Nigeria have quick and exciting players like Chukwueze, Iwobi and Osimhen. “The man on the left Simon is also very quick as well. They are lucky to have them.”
