More Bad News For Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid

There are more reasons to worry for the Real Madrid manager as Serbia striker Luka Jovic has been ruled out of the Euro 2020 qualifying game against Luxembourg on Tuesday after suffering an unspecified physical problem.

Zinedine Zidane is seemingly helpless as Real Madrid’s injury problems continue to get worse after Luka Jovic joined a long list of injured players for Los Blancos.

Zidane has had to cope with quite a few injuries to key members of his squad since the start of the pre-season and and is now saddled with even more bad news following Serbia’s release of a statement informing that Luka Jovic is suffering from an unspecified physical issue.

“In the game against Portugal he suffered a relapse from an injury he was suffering from when he joined up with the national squad, and having been examined by the medics, it has been determined that he won’t be able to play this Tuesday against Luxembourg”, said the statement.

Jovic was an 87th minute substitute in Serbia’s 4-2 defeat to Portugal replacing Milivojevic but the striker was still able to cup the injury with such a limited time on the pitch.

Zindane has not been able to unleash new signing and Belgium playmaker Eden Hazard on the La Liga due to his injury.

Other players on the treatment table for the Whites include James Rodriguez, Rodrygo, Mendy, Marco Asensio and Brahim Diaz.

Les Merengues next match is against Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu with Wales skipper Gareth Bale set to miss that game after getting himself sent off in Real’s last match away to Villarreal.
