Video: See Osimhen’s Two Brilliant Goals For Lille On Ligue 1 Debut

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen got his Ligue 1 journey to a fast start as his two goals on his Lille debut helped Les Douges beat Nantes on Sunday afternoon.

The 20-year-old who was signed from Belgian side Royal Charleroi for 12m Euros which could rise to 20m got his first of his brace in the 18th minute after he got on the end of a long ball from Lille’s defence to finish past Nantes goalkeeper, Albert Lafont.

Nantes pegged Lille back through Celik whose own goal brought the scores levelled. However, Osimhen made sure Les Douges will have the day as he scored the winner in the 80th minute. The U-17 world cup winner controlled a low cross from the right in the box, before firing past Lafont from a tight angle.

Osimhen will hope to continue in this form when Lille take on Amiens in their next Ligue 1 match.
