Everton make sensational 30 million pounds bid for Super Eagles star

Everton FC have had a sensational bid of 30 million pounds for Nigeria international Alex Iwobi rejected by Arsenal who have reportedly indicated interest in offloading the Super Eagles star for 10 million pounds more.

Arsenal have rejected a multi-million dollar offer from the Toffees for their academy graduate and would consider an improved bid should Everton return, according to MailOnline.

The Super Eagles midfielder, who was part of the Nigeria team that won a bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, has been a a prominent member of the Gunners since he graduated from the club’s academy into the first-team.

The bid if accepted will make the playmaker the most expensive Nigeria player in history.

Everton are known to have put in several bids for Wilfried Zaha which have been rejected, with Crystal Palace demanding £100 million for their star player.

Everton are now seeking alternatives after Palace had rejected their latest offer of £70m plus James McCarthy and a season-long loan deal for Cenk Tosun.
