Eagles Star Hands In Transfer Request Following Everton’s Bid

With deadline day fast approaching, time is running out on Everton to sign players, but they have been given a boost by one of their long-time targets.

The Toffees have been one of the busy teams in the transfer window and have already signed the likes of Moise Kean, Andre Gomes and Jean Philippe Gbamin.

However, the Blues are not done and they are reportedly interested in Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha. According to reports, they have already made a 70m pounds bid for the Ivorian international, but it was turned down by the Eagles.

But they have been handed a huge boost now after it was reported that the 24-year-old has submitted a transfer request to the Eagles board.

According to the DailyMail, Zaha is furious that Crystal Palace rejected a bid for him and has set his heart on leaving this summer.

Crystal Palace reportedly wants a 100m pounds for the 24-year-old and that has put Everton off who have now turned their attentions to Arsenal star, Alex Iwobi.

The Toffees submitted a bid in the region of 30m pounds for the 23-year-old, but Arsenal are holding out for 40m according to Skysports.

But Everton may still be able to get their number one target in Zaha if Crystal Palace accepts his transfer request and also lower his value.
